Today, we're launching a new brand and a new website for Production Concepts.
It's a quiet kind of milestone, in some ways - nothing about how we work is changing. But it's taken five years to get here, and for most of that time, our brand and website haven’t had much input. They’ve stayed the same while everything else has grown: our client list, the team, our service provision. Now, it’s time for the brand and website to catch up.
"When I started Production Concepts, it was just me and a van. I didn't think about branding - I thought about getting the job done right, and getting onto the next one. Five years on, there are eleven of us, and we're working on events all over the world for an ever-growing number of clients. As we celebrate our five year anniversary this year, it felt like the right time for our brand and website to catch up and better reflect who we are and what we do - a team that elevates events everywhere."

Production Concepts started with James Deakin working alone - planning, building and delivering events single-handedly for the company's first year. The turning point came in 2022, when five new team members joined, and the business has grown steadily since. Today, the team stands at eleven.
Our list of services has also grown as we’ve added new specialisms to the team. Production Concepts plans, integrates and delivers audio-visual solutions for live, virtual and hybrid events - audio, video, lighting, LED, staging, power distribution and the networking that holds it all together, alongside exhibition rental and dry hire for teams who need the kit without the crew. It's a broader offering than the company started with, but the thread running through it hasn't moved: precision and reliability under pressure.
That work has taken the team a long way, from our Coventry warehouse to London conference floors and Farnborough hangars, exhibition halls in Barcelona and Madrid, Munich and Milan, stages as far out as Miami, Singapore and Beijing. Different cities, different clients, same job: craft experiences through the artful execution of technical excellence.

The new brand is a refreshed identity. The new website is built to show who we are - replacing a holding site that, frankly, undersold a company already trusted by agencies, producers and event partners the world over to handle the parts of an event that can't afford to fail.
But a rebrand is only worth doing if it doesn't change what people already rely on you for. So the identity is new; the standard behind it isn't.
Production Concepts still holds itself to three absolutes, unchanged since the beginning:
because excellence lives in the detail, from the technical drawing through to the final delivery.
because events can’t fail, so the systems, processes and people behind them have to hold under pressure.
because the technology moves fast, and standing still isn't an option if we’re to remain at the forefront of event production..
The new tagline, The Art of Technical Excellence, is an attempt to put language around something the team has been doing for years - treating technical delivery not just as a discipline, but as a craft. Every cable, cue and system is purposeful.
The brand is new. The instinct behind the work isn't.

Five years in, Production Concepts finally has a brand and a website that reflect the company it's become - not the one that started with a single employee and a van. It's a foundation for the next phase of growth, one project and one relationship at a time, without losing the attention to detail that we’re known for.
